As an agency, purpose is at the heart of our being. We know that marketing has historically (and continues) to play a major role in impacting people and climate, driving mass consumption of goods and services. We also believe marketing has huge potential to drive behavioural change.
We recognise that continual learning, development and collaboration are essential in keeping up to date with the latest thinking so, that we can play our part in shaping a sustainable future.
We are so pleased that our founder Debbie has received a certificate in Sustainable Marketing, Media and Creative, after taking part in a three-month study programme with the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
Debbie explains why the course is such a good fit, personally and professionally:
“Of all my career achievements, receiving this certificate is the most fulfilling and aligns perfectly with my personal purpose. I have always felt a greater connection with the natural world and a sense of urgency in how we safeguard it for future generations.
I strongly recommend Sustainable Marketing Media, and Creative with Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) It’s exactly what marketers need if we are to responsibly navigate the challenges we as brands and people face, to put the well-being of people and the planet first”
The programme of study was led by Dr Victoria Hurth and Jonathan Wise, Co-Founder of Purpose Disruptors and The Comms Lab.
Since completing the course, we’ve signed up to Clean Creatives, and began shaping our manifesto and stimulating conversations with client partners, to better align marketing activity with sustainability goals to accelerate impact on long-term well-being for all.
