Alconbury Weald is located on a former RAF airfield and this 1,400-acre area will provide 5,000 homes, business space, green spaces, new schools and more.

Strategy

We developed the concept and production approach for two episodes, forming part of a brand new podcast series, Alconbury Weald Stories. Both episodes include members of the local community and key partners including Archaeologists, Ecologists and Landscape Architects. The podcast had to speak to cross generation audiences.

Episode 1 – Wild Weald, follows TV presenter Mike Dilger, as he explores Alconbury Weald’s green corridors and the dynamic wider landscapes of Alconbury Weald.

Episode 2  – Weald Origins, brings to life fascinating accounts from history from the most recent use as a RAF airfield, to Iron Age discoveries and links to the Romans and their strategic trade routes. Narrated by archaeologist and TV presenter Raksha Dave, and explores the rich and varied heritage at Alconbury Weald.
